Park City provides a FREE public transportation service that operates daily, year-round, and takes passengers to various locations within the town including Historic Main Street, Kimball Junction, and several ski resorts. There are several major car rental companies can be found in Park City and at Salt Lake International Airport.
Flying
The closest airport to Park City is Salt Lake International Airport, located just under 40 miles from the town. Serving eight commercial airlines and over 800 daily scheduled flights., this airport makes flight travel to Park City easy. Once arrived, choose from car rentals, private shuttles, commercial buses, taxi services, or even ski buses provided by the Utah Transit Authority (UTA) during winter to commute to your Park City destination.
Provo Municipal Airport (PVU) in Provo, Utah is open for public use, but is not currently hosting commercial airlines. The airport features two runways and charter service provided by Million Air Provo and is located 1 hour (45 miles) south of Park City, just east of I-15.
Driving
For road travelers, Park City is located on UT-224/Olympic Parkway just 40 minutes (33 miles) east of Salt Lake City.
From Salt Lake City, travel east on I-80 before taking exit 145 towards Kimball Junction and continue traveling south on UT-224 S/Olympic Parkway.
From the east, travel west on I-80 before exiting on to US-189 S/US-40 E.
Public Buses and Shuttles
Park City provides a free, year-round shuttle service that operates daily and traverses through Historic Main Street, Kimball Junction, and several ski resorts.

Visitors may also utilize free transport up and down Main Street on the Park City Trolley. The trolley operates daily from 10 am - 10 pm and makes connections to Old Town Transit Center every 15 minutes.
